Glowing skin.

Good morning sweeties. What a busy week, goodness!

Today I will be discussing my skin care regime. For those who don’t know I am 27 (Nearing 28 at a rapid rate). My skin is fair and sensitive, I get the occasional pimple but only when I am super stressed. Otherwise it’s quite well behaved.shutterstock_149576165 (1)

Firstly I promote inner nutrition. I feel a good outside is a result of a good inside. Trying to eat a balanced diet, drink plenty of water and (as per my vitamin and mineral post) take the correct balance of pills for my body.

I use a variety of products, as I find my skin likes the variation instead of one brand.

Daily I wash my face in the morning and evening with a gentle cleanser. I like the Dermalogica Daily Cleanser and L’Oreal Revitalift Cleansing Milk.

Then comes toning my skin with Dermalogica Multi Active Toner, the L’Oreal Revitalift Toner is also great and budget friendly.

My morning moisturiser is either Clinique SPF 30 Superdefence or Dermalogica Age Smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50. Instead of foundation I use a CC cream  Yardley CC cream SPF 30. Everything I use in the day has an SPF, it is so important to prevent sun damage!

shutterstock_201882385At night I repeat the whole process but use a richer night cream, I love the Sorbet Salon Night Recovery Cream as it smells like lavender #yum.

Additional items I like to use depending on the need:
Eye cream – Clinique pep start eye cream.
Make up remover – L’Oreal gentle make up remover.
Serum – Sorbet Salon Skin Facial Tissue Oil.
Extra moisture in winter – Clinique Moisture Surge cream.

I try get a Dermalogica Age Smart facial or light Chemical Peel every 2 months which really sorts out any additional problems. I recommend starting with the basics, once you have gotten into a routine start building on it to achieve glowing skin.
