Well-being

Thoughtful Thursday.

While trying to be in tune with spirituality and wellness I find it increasingly important to find time during the week to quiet the mind… and not just when it’s time to go to sleep!

I found this difficult to do in general but now even more so in the hustle and bustle of London!

1. Yoga class – this is a great time to focus on your practice and breathing. Don’t let your mind wonder to when your next meeting is!

2. Pick a morning on the weekend – I know this is easier said than done but having a bit of a lie in, knowing you have no plans will help you relax and clear your mind after a busy week.

3. Commute home – once a week on your commute home listen to some relaxing music to try and clear your mind of the days thoughts.

4. Go for a massage or acupuncture – how often have you scheduled a treatment because you need to relax and have then spent the whole time thinking about what to cook for dinner? Take advantage of this special time to dissolve all thoughts.pexels-photo-545015

As mentioned in my stress post, I struggle with meditation but continue to try improve my relationship with it – if you can meditate please do!
