Today’s post is about BOOKS! I am a little book worm, one book every two weeks is my current going rate. During my healthy and wellness journey a lot of my recent reads have to do with health, beauty and nourishing the body.
My book of the month is a great combination of beauty and nutrition. Beauty Food by Maria Ahlgren. Eating to not only fuel your body but to also eat for skin health makes me so happy.
This book has some fabulous nourishing recipes – my favourites are her quick and easy smoothies and fluffs, as well as tips and beauty tricks that any girl or guy would need.
My key takeouts are to remind myself to eat the rainbow and incorporate super foods where I can. Every different colour holds a different health property and benefit for the skin and body.
I highly recommend the read, as well as incorporating some of these fabulous recipes into your routine!
