Acai bowl recipe

Hi honeys!

Spring is in the air which means I will be changing up my daily meals. In winter I have a big hot bowl of overnight oats, in summer I have an ice cold protein shake and in spring I love smoothie bowls!

Smoothie bowls are a great way to get your daily quota of vitamins and minerals by adding super food ingredients. My current favourite is an Acai bowl:

1 frozen banana
½ cup almond mylk
½ cup of frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon of acai powder (I use Naturya organic powder)
1 tbs of almond butter

Mix together In a blender and enjoy! I like to top mine with hemp seeds, banana, and blueberries.

Just a note, depending on your dietary needs be careful how many toppings you add. I add quite a few as I am not looking to lose weight but to pack my body full of nutrient dense food, this will, however, be higher in calories than a plain acai bowl with no toppings.
